The Smart Switch program module enables the user to fully program the set points and hysteresis of the Smart Switch in the field without any pressure input. The module consists of a Smart Switch Software CD and RS232 Programming Connection for your PC. All that is required to complete the programming is a 12-30 volt power supply to the programming module and a PC with Windows.

With the PC off, connect the RS232 programming cable to both the PC and the progamming module.

Connect the programming module to a 12-30 Vdc power supply in accordance with the catalog wiring diagram and connect the module to the Smart Switch 5 pin M12x1 connection.

Turn on the PC, insert the software cd and follow the prompts on the screen. If the software does not begin to install automatically, double click the setup.exe file located on the cd.

To adjust the switch function(s) set point(s) and hysteresis simply click on the appropriate tool bars, insert your requirements and close the program.
