Designed for precise control in crucial temperature applications, the 850 Series Electronic Temperature Switch/Transmitter utilizes PT100 technology to provide continuous temperature monitoring, electronic switching, and transmission of analog output (4-20 mA) while providing local digital indication. Two buttons on top allow simple adjustment of the temperature set points, reset points, switching functions and the measuring range of the optional analog output. These extensive features and wide measuring range (between -300°F and 1100°F/ -200°C and 600°C) cover the majority of temperature measuring and switching tasks. A variety of stem lengths, which are also available with adjustable insertion lengths, add to the versatility of the 850 Series. All wetted parts as well as the housing are made of stainless steel for corrosion protection and durability. This is a durable, cost-effective and easy-to-integrate product. |
| FOR FRICTION CLUTCH
CHTK Chain Hoist Test Kit
NOSHOK’s CHTK is a precise, durable and dependable tester for chain hoist clutches. The kit provides a wide range of measurement, with high accuracy, low weight and ease of use. To perform the test, the force transducer is inserted onto the chain, travels upwards with it against the base of the chain hoist and thereby blocks the chain. The display unit allows you to read the load at which the friction clutch stalls. The CHTK consists of a force transducer with integrated handle and a display unit. Two chain adapters and three centering sleeves are also included, to ensure compatibility with most types of chain hoists in the specified load range. The large illuminated graphic display makes it easy for the user to read the measured values. Optionally, 99 unique data sets can be stored & transferred via an infrared interface to a PC. The CHTK’s special feature is the single sensor concept for the entire load range. |

Students are rewarded for excellence in design, demonstrated team spirit, professionalism and maturity, and the ability to overcome obstacles. NOSHOK Engineer Mentors in First Robotics Competition
FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a unique “varsity sport of the mind” designed to encourage high-school-aged people to explore the excitement of science and technology, and experience how rewarding the life of engineers and researchers can be. Teams of young people and their mentors are challenged to build robots using a standard kit of parts and a common set of rules, within a six week timeframe. Once built, they enter the robots in competitions designed by Dean Kamen, Dr. Woodie Flowers, and a committee of engineers and other professionals. The national competition kicked off on January 3rd: usfirst.org and teams will be working on their projects until February 17th. The 2009 FIRST Robotics Competition Buckeye Regional Competition will take place in Cleveland, OH, on February 26-28th: www.firstbuckeye.org. Visit this link for more info: robotics.nasa.gov NOSHOK wishes Mike Lancaster and all of the FRC teams a successful and rewarding 2009 FIRST Robotics Competition! |
