NOSHOK 3540 Series Tension and Compression Force Transducers are available in a multitude of sizes and shapes to fit almost any application; including cable or rod tension, weight measurement, overload protection, clamping force, and fill level measurement. 316 stainless steel construction on many versions provides corrosion-resistance and durability, making them ideal for harsh environments.
- Measuring ranges from 0 kN to 5 kN through 0 kN to 5,000 kN
- Accuracy levels ranging from ±2.0% Full scale (B.F.S.L.) to ±0.04% Full scale, depending on version
- Several outputs available in amplified and unamplified to interface with most electrical systems
- Sputtered thin film sensor for maximum repeatability and stability
NOSHOK 2351 Series S-Type Tension and Compression Force Transducers are easily assembled, and suitable for dynamic or static measurements in applications such as hoisting gear, engagement forces in machinery, automated manufacturing, and construction of plant and machinery. They provide high shock and vibration resistance and small temperature drift.
- Conventional design features internal threads which allow force to be easily introduced via suitable swivel heads
- Features thin film implants and an integrated amplifier
- Connector plug is on the broad side of the body; cable socket is angled so cable runs parallel to the direction of force, providing space-savings and protected installation on plant and machinery
- Special version with integrated overload protection and a selectable measuring range is available, ideal for applications in measurement engineering
- Factory internal calibration are performed in tension and compression directions:
4…20 mA and 0…10 V; and the zero signal is around 12 mA and 5 V - With the aid of the optional EPE01 programming unit, any of three different measuring ranges (100%, 50% and 30%) can be selected without having to remove the force transducer
- Overload protection is rated for 250% of the maximum nominal load
