Specific Applications

  • This is one of the most challenging and heavy-duty applications
  • The Pulper is a large tank where water, old used paper and/or cellulose are thrown in from the top which creates pressure spikes
  • A large agitator filters out particles such as glass, staples, etc.
  • Recommended NOSHOK Transmitters:

  • Two pressure transmitters measure the pressure drop between the inlet and outlet pressure across the Deflaker
  • Range for both transmitters 0 -100 psi
  • Deflakers ensure excellent deflaking and defibering in bale pulp lines, coated paper, etc. which is necessary for optimal stock/fiber treatment in subsequent processes
  • Deflakers ensure homogenous stock for further processing

  • A flanged pressure transmitter must be used for pressure measurement on the Headbox
  • A flanged transmitter with an extended diaphragm is often used
  • Pressure measurement in the Headbox determines the speed control of the mixing pump
